About You
What is your full name?
Henry Fitzroy, former Earl of Nottingham, Admiral of England, Ireland and Normandy, Warden of the Cinque Ports, Lieutenant of Ireland, Duke of Richmond and Somerset, and other various titles no longer of import to me. I am the illegetimate son of King Henry VIII. I was also a Knight of the Garter and heir-apparent to the throne.
How old are you?
I was 17 when I died and then undied, but one must understand that years were harder on a person in my birthtime. Plus, I do age, albeit very slowly. I look somewhere in my mid- to late twenties now. I've had senscience for around 500 years, and been a vampire for roughly 475 of those years.
When were you born?
15 June, 1519.
Where were you born?
Blackmore, Essex, England.
What is your ethnic background?
English, although my paternal great-great grandmother was from Luxembourg.
What is your education in? What’s your job?
Standard royal education; swordplay, riding, politics, diplomacy, reading, writing, etc.. As of now, I write romance novels, mostly to fill my time, under the pseudonymn Elizabeth Fitzroy (if one knows one's Tudor history, one will understand the significance).
Do you have any religious affiliations?
Catholic, though not observant; not many cathedrals are open at night anymore. I still have the rosary from my confirmation, but it is currently in storage.
Where do you live currently?
When not visiting m'Lady our most gracious Hostess, I live in Vancouver, British Colombia, Canada.
Living with Hex
When did you join her?
December of 2007 or January of 2008, during her reading of Tanya's "Smoke" trilogy. An interesting note; she was convinced she'd "get" Tony, but he went to her mother instead.
How have you changed by coming here?
I've learned to open myself emotionally.
How often do you visit “home” (wherever that is)?
I'm actually "home" most of the time. I travel between Vancouver and m'Lady (whether that be her home or her headspace) when necessary.
Who are some of your friends here?
Vampires of my kind are solitary by nature, and seeing as most of the others here are vampires as well, I don't tend to interact with them too terribly often. Although, that other prince is almost painfully attractive. Luckily for me, he is not a vampire, and attracted to men. Unluckily, pain is not pleasurable for him.
Who are some people you can’t stand?
William is a brat.
Does it bother you that no one else can interact with you?
Oh others can, if m'Lady and I choose to allow it. I actually *ahem* interact with her husband every so often.
How do you like watching/reading movies/books with you in them?
I saw a brief clip of the television show based on Tanya's books, and was, in a word, disgusted. Not only doesn't the actor cast bear any resemblance whatsoever to Tudors, he can't even act like one. Or a vampire, for that matter. Reading Tanya's books sometimes dredges up things better left sunken.
What is your relationship to Hex?
We are friends and occasional lovers, but I am also her husband's lover.
Miscellanea
What do you like to do when hanging out with Hex?
We don't hang out much, to be truthful. Usually, I pop in for sex.
What sort of books do you like to read?
Almost anything except my own works. I spend too much damn time with them as it is.
What is your favorite movie?
M'Lady received the DVD of the play "Into the Woods" this past Christmas, and that was simply delightful.
Which song do you think describes you the best?
M'Lady insists that "Hold Me Tonight" by Savage Garden fits my love life. I like "6 Underground" by Sneaker Pimps because it's cheeky.
Do you have any pets that you either brought with you or received after arriving here?
Having animals around me for long periods of time rarely ends well.
How would you classify your sexuality?
Today's word would be bisexual, if one insists on a classification. And, such behaviour was not so uncommon - or should I say, reviled - in other times.
